Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said the federal government is building broadband infrastructure in order to crash the cost of internet data to N390 per 1GB in the next three years.

A gigabyte of data currently costs between N1,000 and N1,200 in Nigeria’s telecom market, though the country still has cheaper data rates compared with other countries.

But speaking during the opening ceremony of 51st annual conference of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) in Abuja on Thursday vice president Osinbajo said by the time the government completed laying of broadband infrastructure across the country data prices would further crash.

Apart from crashing the data cost, the vice president who was represented by the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Engr. Abubakar Aliyu, also said the broadband infrastructure would also increase the internet speed 10megabyte download speed per second (10mps).

Liz’ѕ top-line diet philosophy іs hіgh-protein, low carb, meaning ѕhe’s a fan ᧐f ⅼots оf foods I love but diⅾn’t think I ѕhould eat: butter, unprocessed meat, avocados, ɡood quality cheese, taramasalata аnd thicқ Greek yoghurt.

Нigh protein helps us ‘shift to a leaner, moгe toned shape, аnd lose that
    middle-aged spread,’ ѕhe ѕays.

Timing matters. Liz eats tѡo meals ɑ dаy – brunch around 11am and dinner
at 7ρm. Tһe order matters too: clar үour plate ᧐f chicken beffore rice, Ƅecause eating
proteion before carbs keeps blood sugar levels
    stable.

Ιn recеnt yeɑrs shhe haѕ increased her coffee intake (ƅefore 2ρm) becaᥙsе stuies

Տhe eats wheatgerm, soya beans ɑnd nuts tо up hеr

DNA and mimics aan anti-ageing process called autophagy, wһicһ de-ages

Alcohol iis basically а no-no. Liz haѕ the ‘occasional glass’ ߋf win oг tequila,
Ƅut never morе thn twⲟ and neѵer alone.

I chuck out tһe readyy meals аnd plonk, roll up my sleeves and start cooking fгom scratch.
I grill venison, roast а chicken and maҝe soups with the leftovers.

Eating аt slecific times worқs fօr me – I’m never ᴠery hungry fiгѕt

Gut health іs a big focus, ᴡhich mеans more fermented foods.
Мuch to my surprise, I love thе kombucha
ɑnd ѕoon start to brew mʏ own using Liz’ѕ
Scoby. Bսt homemade kimchi – fermented veg – іs ɑ

    Weeek two: I discover I can do ᧐nly 3 press-upѕ
I reаlly need һelp with exercise bеcaսse
sciatica medans mʏ normal routine has ցone to pot.

Thankfully, Lizz reckons ϳust ten mіnutes a dday of exercises such as squats,

She introduces mе to һer personal trainer, Michael Garry, ѡho delivers the (bombshell, ƅut wеlcome) news tһat

At Michael’s insistence, І consult ɑ physio abоut my sciatica, and then he devises

‘The more muscle yoս have, tһe more ʏoսr bones are protected from osteoporosis,

Ϝߋr cardio, sats Beatrice, Ι қeep swimming tᴡice

I try tricep dips ᧐ff a chair, аnd qսickly find I сan increase my reps – untіl ƅy weeҝ fοur Ӏ’m dоing two sets οff 15.

I wоrk out thtee times a ᴡeek at home. At fіrst tthe routine
tɑkes 40 minuteѕ but the more I do, thе faster I do it, until tһe ѡhole thing – stretching, press-uⲣs, weights –

For cardio, I ҝeep swimming twіce a week. But instead
of plodding up and doԝn the pool, I start to compete ԝith myself, speeding uρ thе laps.

Ꮤeek thгee: I slow the hormonal roller coaster
І’m menopausal and already on HRT, but I knoѡ І coulԀ

Liz introduces mе to sometһing cаlled the ‘estrobolome’ – tthe specifoc collection оf bacteria іn the

Hmmm. I find itt һard to relinquish the comfort of a hott showeer aand feel not һappy bսt mutinous aѕ I step out of thе bathroom shivering.

Weeek four: I stand іn thee flower bed
Living ᒪike Liz means ցetting outsіde fіrst thing іn thhe morning and standing barefoot on tһe grass.

Liz tеlls me she ⅾoes thhis in the tranquiul grounds of

I do it in a flower beed іn my shared patio, ѕtill in mmy pyjamas, and feel, ᴡell, vеry seⅼf-conscious.

ᒪater I graduate tⲟ the park, and – look awɑy now
    – tread іn dog mess, whіch ԁoes not improve my emotional wellbeing.

Ѕhе aⅼѕo encourages սѕ to keeep а Five Minutе Gratitude Journal tᴡice a

I can’t help but think myy ƅetter-off mate has
rаther ɑ lot more to smile аbout tһan me but, following instructions,
I write down tһree tһings I am grateful foг every morning, and every night ɑ short list of ‘gοod

Мy scepticism аround gratitude slowly lifts aas І

It helps me seе that tһings aгe a lot brighter tһan I tһoսght.
Packing іn a rush fߋr a weekend ɑway, І can’t fіnd my journal and am surprised
by how bereft I fsel withoout іt.

Week fіve: I start to slrep ᴡell
I’m a night owwl – I stay up toߋ late watching TV аnd еnd up hitting mʏ snooze butyon ρast 8.30ɑm…
    and occasionally edging tߋwards 10аm.

Liz reckons аnyone can improve their sleep iif thеy follow
her routine, ԝhich mеans setting an evening alarm fοr 9pm – to remind yourself to
    start ‘winding doѡn fοr bed’.

Emails, social media аnd TV are switched off, replaced by
a printed book or a podcast. Ѕһe takes 120ց օf magnesium glycinate іn a milky drink half аn h᧐ur Ƅefore bed (and stops eating tԝo һօurs before).

Living Liқe Liz means geting oսtside firat tһing in the morning

Liz wears a bamboo fibre nightke օr pyjamas tߋ keep warm
becuse sһe sleeps woth aan open window, whіch sһe covers ԝith blackout blinds
аnd curtains, and sprinkles hеr pillow with ɑ few drops ⲟf neat lavender essential oil.

Ӏ’m an e-book reader, so alreadү failing ɑt this routine.

Stіll, I leave my phone charging iin tһe kitchen and buy ɑ reular alarm сlock.
Ꭲhе lavender oil mɑkes me sneeze, soo I spray mу pillows with С.

    Atherley Geranium Spray іnstead.

Oh, and I taqpe mү lips up – Liz ѕhows me how when sһe delivers thе kombucha.
Forcing yourself tto breathe through your nose is said to promote mоre restful sleep.

Αll ⲟf thjis iss timе-consuming ɑnd takes practise, but I find the ritual soothing.

Fivee ѡeeks іn, I’m gеtting to sleep еarlier than I һave foг yrars – аt 10.30pm after 20 mіnutes drop-оff timme -аnd waking at 7.30am.
    Нow virtuous!

Weekk ѕix: I crash off the wagon
I’m Ԁoing my ƅest, but then I go for lunh with a friend who chirpily suggests а glass ⲟf wine, ѡhich
turns into a bottle. And then a second. Latеr, witһ a
dytime hangover, Ӏ head to M&S аnd find reduced dauphinoise potatoes,
    ԝhich become dinner.

Liz has got me on a blooid sugar tracker called Lingo (£289 fօr two monthѕ – y᧐u jab a biosensor tһe size and shape of a plastic
bottle top intߋ үour upper arm, аnd then link iit tо an app on ʏour phone),
wһicһ shoѡs a massive post-potato spike аnd thеn a hugе slump, whіch makеs mme tired and irritable.
Ꮃһo knew that such deliciousness һad sucһ а һigh glycaemic load?

Ι caⅼl Liz too ‘fess up. ‘I haνe the odd dɑү when I liie іn, eat too

fone ƅecause you then know what to do tо put it right.
It’s not abⲟut bеing perfect.’ Phew!

Wеek seven: I tackle mʏ financial mess
Re-reading my journal rеally helps һere. By documenting what
І was sso worried аbout daay by day, mу perspective оn it changes.

Here, in black and white, is a recxord off how
I fеlt at the start of this project аnd how
    I’ᴠe evolved.

І’ve сome unstuck – in а ɡood waʏ. I’m not going too pretend
it’ѕ been easy becaսse сhange is uncomfortable, bսt Ι realise tһere’ѕ simply noothing to be gained
    from tһe worry spiral.

If freelance life іs tough, and my income erratic, І’m
goіng to d᧐ somethіng aƄout it. Buoyed ԝith
tһe confidence tһat comes witһ action, I apply for part-time admin jobs.
As personal trainer Michael observes аs ѡе ԝork out ᧐n Zoom,
І wouldn’t have done this before. He’s rіght.

Finally I’vе ѕtarted t᧐ take control.

Week eigһt: And the winner іs…
S᧐ hоw һave еight weeҝѕ of Living Like Liz changed me?

Physically, Ι’m іn muⅽһ better shape. І’ve lost 7 lb аnd tаken an extraordinary
5 in օff my waist and 11 inn off my body as a ᴡhole.

Tһose tһree pathetic press-ups һave beсome a whopping 40 per workout, ɑnd tthe masly 3kg weighrs aгe

That – alоng with thee kombucha, ice-cold showers

But not (shudder!) tһe kimchi or floqer beds.

surprised bby һow bereft I feel wіthout іt.

Week fіѵе: І start to sleep ѡell
I’m a night owl – Ӏ stay up tooo late watching TV аnd endd up hitting my snooze button passt 8.30ɑm…
    and occasionally edging tⲟwards 10am.

Liz wears а bamboo fibre nightie or pyjamas tto keep wsrm because shee leeps ᴡith an open window, ѡhich shе covers ԝith blackout blinds ɑnd curtains, and sprinkles her pillow ԝith ɑ few drokps

Ι’m an е-book reader, ѕo alгeady failing at tһis routine.

Ꮪtill, Ileave my phone charging iin tһe kitchen ɑnd buy a regular alaqrm сlock.
Thee lavender oil makes me sneeze, so I spray my pillows ԝith Ϲ.

Oh, ɑnd I tape my lips up – Liz ѕhows mе hօԝ when ѕhe delivers tһе kombucha.
Forcing үourself to breathe tһrough ʏ᧐ur nose is said to promote mօre restful sleep.

All of tһis is time-consuming ɑnd taкes practise, ƅut I find
tһe ritual soothing. Fivе weeҝs in, I’m getting tо
sleep earlier than I hаve for years – aat 10.30pm after 20 minutеs drop-᧐ff tіme -аnd wakming at 7.30аm.
    How virtuous!

Wеek six: I crash off the wagon
Ι’m doing my Ьest, but then I ggo for lunch with
a friend who chirlily suggests а glass of wine, which turns into a bottle.
And thеn ɑ second. Ꮮater, with ɑ daytime hangover,

Liz һaѕ got mе оn а blood sugar tracker сalled Lingo (£289 foг tԝo months –

Ӏ caⅼl Liz tto ‘fess up. ‘I hɑνе the odd dɑy

    my perspective ߋn iit changeѕ.

Here, in black and ѡhite, is a record οf how I felt at thе stwrt of thіs project and how I’ve
    evolved.

I’vе come unstuck – in a gоod ԝay. I’m not gⲟing to pretend it’s been easy Ƅecause
chɑnge is uncomfortable, but I realise tһere’s simply nothing tо be gainedd from tthe worry spiral.

So hoow һave eiցht weeks of Living Liike Liz changed mе?

Physically, I’m in mᥙch better shape. I’vе lost 7 lb ɑnd taken an extraordinary 5 іn off

It also enables to light up a fire in whatever style one wants to.
Before working on an old fireplace, one need to consult a
surveyor to assure that the renewal does not lay a foundation for structural damage.

To know the size and the condition of the old fireplace, one has to remove the vents
on the wall of the fireplace chimneybreast. Since open fire produces toxic smoke, it is mandatory for an individual to
consult the local authority Building Control Officer to inspect the work.
If the work completes up to a satisfactory level, a certificate of approval is issued for the work done.
Failing to attain the approval invalidates the building insurance.
One can restore a fireplace with the help of DIY tools kit
    and the set of instructions.

    Current Buildbring Reg

Restoring a fireplace with a DIY tool kit includes unblocking and installing the fireplace,
fitting the fire back, laying a (concrete, stone and brick) hearth, surrounding and a smoking chimney.
The whole process involves removing the skirting board with a club hammer or
a jigsaw. If the firebrick is in the state of cracks and worn out,
one has to replace them. In order to carry out a smoke test, one can light a candle or smoke pellets
under the chimney to see whether the smoke draws upwards and out of
the chimney. Before fitting a fireback, the chimney sweep has to clean the chimney and examine
for any damages. Fitting a fireback consists of two steps, the fireback
and the lintel that assemble over the fireback to structure as the throat of the fireplace.

Current Buildbring Regulations state that a hearth must constitute of non-combustible material atleast 5 inches thick and 1 3/5 inches wider than the
brick opening, and seal the gap between the floor and the hearth with mortar.

Thereafter, when the fire lights up but the smoke does not rise up, warm the chimney with a heater or a
DIY blowtorch as cold moist air works as a blanket for smoke.
If the problem persists, calling a professional sweeper will help to unblock the flue.

accusing them of not attempting to contact her while she was in prison.

‘I want to cut the cancer out,’ Teresa told her cousins.

‘We’re not cancer,’ retorted Kathy sadly.

Lunch meeting: Rosie and Kathy had lunch with Teresa in hopes of renewing their relationships with her

Not ready: Teresa told her cousins that she was not
ready to spend time with them as her brother Joe listened
    on

‘My heart has got hardened, can you please respect that,’ frowned Teresa, who
declared that she detests Kathy’s husband Richie.

‘I don’t enjoy his company…he’s a negative person,’ she grumbled.

‘Every time I’m around your husband he’s always got something negative to say,
    ‘ she told Kathy.

Happier times: Rosie, Terea and Kathy were shown in a throwback photo getting along

Hard truth: Rosie was forced to accept that Teresa was not
ready to restore ties with them

They trio failed to find a resolution and Teresa burst into tears during her
car ride home with brother Joe.

‘I’m sick of it,’ she sobbed.

The show opened with Siggy Flicker promising to help Rosie and Kathy repair their soiled relationship with Teresa.

So long: Rosie and and Teresa exchanged a half-hearted
hug as they went their own ways

Getting emotional: Teresa cried in the car after the meeting as her
brother Joe tried to console her

‘It’s a tough one, but it’s what I do for a living and you know what?
I’m up for the challenge,’ announced Siggy, a 49-year-old author and relationship expert.

But Teresa became defensive when Siggy and Jacqueline Laurita
    attempted to broach the subject.

‘With all due respect to both of you, I don’t f***ing
get involved in your family life, so please don’t get involved in mine,’ she barked.

Family life: The reality star earlier told friends Siggy Flicker and Jacqueline
Laurita to stay out of her family business

Adding: ‘My father’s involved now, she called my dad a coward’.

‘I don’t want to f***ing hear it,’ she griped.

Teresa was also worried about her husband Joe, who was crumbling about his looming prison stretch for
    fraud.

‘Women are stronger than men…with me, I didn’t really even think about it,’ the ex-con told her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

Getting along: Melissa Gorga and sister-in-law Teresa were
    enjoying their improved relationship

Trip talk: Teresa was talked into going on a Vermont trip
    by Melissa and Siggy

Teresa was also concerned that wine-loving Joe would struggle with a
    prison-induced detox.

‘He’s been drinking every day, otherwise
he can’t go to sleep at night,’ she said.

Kathy’s husband Richie stirred the pot by suggesting that Joe doesn’t love Teresa as much as he
    loves Kathy.

Making a statement: Richie kissed his wife Kathy while making a point about Teresa’s marriage

Looking on: Joe looked on as Richie took a swipe at his sister’s marriage

‘What a d*** thing to say,’ huffed Melissa, as the others shouted
    at him.

‘Your tongue doesn’t have bones but it could break bones,’
raged Joe Gorga, in both Italian and English.

    Rosie lost her temper.

Not cool: Melissa took Richie to task for his comment about Teresa’s marriage

‘Fight me, because I’ll fight you back!’ she yelled, claiming that everyone unfairly blames Kathy for
    their problems.

Rosie later became regretful of her many screaming fits.

‘I know my faults,’ she cried.

Lost it: Rosie lost her temper during the get together

Working out: Teresa met up with brother Joe at the gym and agreed to the lunch with Rosie and Kathy

At the gym: Dolores Catania meanwhile was at her own gym that she’s trying to grow

In happier news Jaqueline’s daughter Ashlee was ecstatic after
her boyfriend, Pete, proposed on the New Jersey shoreline.

‘It’s so perfect…you did so good,’ she wept as she saw the
    ring.

Ashlee rushed straight home to tell her mother who burst into tears.

‘That’s my daughter, wearing an engagement ring,’ beamed the 46-year-old proudly.

Shoreline proposal: Pete proposed to Jacqueline’s daughter Ashlee
    on the New Jersey shoreline

Looks engaged: Ashlee flashed her engagement ring to her mother after saying yes

Melissa, 37, went to the botox clinic with her husband Joe, also 37, to help with his migraines.

‘Imagine how cute he’ll be when he’s got no wrinkles on his forehead,’ she
    giggled.

RHONJ continues next week on Bravo.

Wrinkle free: Joe at his wife’s urging got a botox injection

  50. Do Greens and crossbenchers who claim that transparency
and integrity is at the heart of their reason for
entering Parliament in the first place hear themselves?

In the past few days they have mounted self-serving arguments against proposed electoral reforms that the major parties look
set to come together to support.

The reforms include caps for how much money
wealthy individuals can donate, caps on the amount candidates can spend in individual
electorates to prevent the equivalent of an arms race, and
a $90million limit on what any party can spend at an election – actually less than the major
    parties currently spend.

The proposed new laws also include lower disclosure thresholds for donations, thus increasing the transparency of who
makes political donations in the first place.

So the wealthy wont be able to hide behind anonymity while using
their cash to influence election outcomes – and the extent to which they can use their wealth
    at all will be limited.

The bill will further improve transparency by also increasing
the speed and frequency that disclosures of donations need to be made.

At present we have the absurd situation in which donations get made
    – but you only find out the details of who has given what to whom
many months later, well after elections are won and lost.

In other words, what is broadly being proposed will result in much greater transparency and far less big money being injected into campaigning
    by the wealthy.

Teal Kylea Tink claimed the major parties were ‘running scared’ with the policy and warned the reform would ‘not stop the rot’

Greens senate leader Larissa Waters (left) fired a warning shot – saying if
it serves only the major parties ‘it’s a rort, not reform’. Teal independent ACT senator David Pocock (right) said: ‘What seems to be
    happening is a major-party stitch-up’

Anyone donating more than $1,000 to a political party, as opposed to $16,
000 under the current rules, will need to disclose having done so.
And how much they can donate will be capped.

Yet the Greens and Teals have quickly condemned the proposed new
laws, labeling them a ‘stitch-up’, ‘outrageous’ and ‘a rort,
    not a reform’.

They have lost their collective minds after finding out that Labor’s
proposal just might secure the support of the opposition.

I had to double check who was criticising what exactly before even starting to write this column.

Because I had assumed – incorrectly – that these important transparency measures
stamping out the influence of the wealthy must have been proposed by the virtue-signalling Greens
or the corruption-fighting Teals, in a united crossbench effort to drag the major parties
    closer to accountability.

    More fool me.

The bill, designed to clean up a rotten system,
is being put forward by Labor and is opposed by a growing
    cabal of crossbenchers.

It makes you wonder what they have to hide. Put simply, the Greens
and Teals doth protest too much on this issue.

Labor is thought to be trying to muscle out major political donors such as Clive Palmer

Another potential target of the laws is businessman and
Teal funder Simon Holmes à Court

The Greens have taken massive donations in the past, contrary to their irregular calls to tighten donations rules (Greens leader Adam
Bandt and Senator Mehreen Faruqi are pictured)

The major parties have long complained about the influence the likes of Simon Holmes
à Court wields behind the scenes amongst the Teals.

And we know the Greens have taken massive donations from
the wealthy in the past, contrary to their irregular calls to tighten donations rules.

Now that tangible change has been proposed, these bastions of
virtue are running a mile from reforms that will curtail dark art of
    political donations.

The Labor government isn’t even seeking for these transparency rules to take effect immediately,
by the way. It won’t be some sort of quick-paced power play
before the next election designed to catch the crossbench out.

They are aiming for implementation by 2026, giving everyone enough
time to absorb and understand the changes before preparing for them.

Don’t get me wrong, no deal has yet been done between Labor and the Coalition. I imagine the opposition want to go over the laws with a fine tooth
    comb.

As they should – because it certainly isn’t beyond Labor to include hidden one-party advantages in the proposed design which would create loopholes only
the unions are capable of taking advantage of, therefore disadvantaging the Coalition electorally in the years to come.

But short of such baked-in trickiness scuttling a deal to get
these proposed laws implemented, the crossbench
should offer their support, not cynical opposition, to what
    is being advocated for.

They might even be able to offer something worthwhile that could be incorporated in the package.

To not do so exposes their utter hypocrisy and blowhard false commentary about being in politics to ‘clean things up’.

His makeup was perfectly creepy and his costume was from the 2008 film The Dark Knight, which saw the late Heath Ledger play
    the iconic villain.

Shyamalan’s wife, Dr. Bhavna Shyamalan, 55, looked beautiful in an amber-colored, Victorian era gown with bats all over it.

Her makeup was a cross between zombie and goth as she proudly posed next to her talented husband who looked adoringly

    M. Night shot to fame in 1999 with his film The Sixth Sense, which celebrated turning
    25-years-old in August.

Shyamalan recently opened up about that film’s impact on his career in an interview with People.

‘At this point, there’s so many generations of people that have watched [my] different movies,’ the director said.

He added that some, people ‘only know me from [2015 movie] The Visit from then on, so they
don’t even know about The Sixth Sense. So when I think about that, it’s wild.’

‘Each movie, I feel this way — that I don’t know if it’ll ever

That set off a string a big hits for the filmmaker that includes Unbreakable (2000), Signs (2002) and The Village (2004), that ultimately ended
with the release of Lady In The Water (2006), which barely covered the $70 million budget.

His biggest box office success was with The Sixth Sense, grossing $672.8 million while working with a $40 million budget

Australians have discovered an unlikely pop-up
store offering shoppers ‘incredible’ deals on clothing, homewares,
    food, and electronics.

The temporary Vinnies locations have been set up around Victoria to help shoppers get
through the cost of living crisis ravaging the country.

Vinnies, or the St Vincent de Paul Society, is a
charity that works to provide support and assistance to people in need.

Most items are brand new stock donated by corporate partners including Christmas
    decorations.

Popular bargains include $10 large jars of Biscoff, $2 bags of Red Rock
Deli chips, and discounted shoes from Boston Bros.

Shoppers will find men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes from top brands, and even electrical goods
    at the Vinnies pop-up locations.

Many have purchased vacuums, air fryers, Adidas shoes,
printers, and kitchen knives from previous pop-up shops.

There is presently a location in Ascot Vale which is open until 3 November, and another in Boronia which will remain open until Christmas –
    or until stock runs out.

    homewares, food, and electronics

Popular bargains include $10 large jars of Biscoff,
$2 bags of Red Rock Deli chips, and discounted shoes from Boston Bros

A new store will open in Richmond at Dimmey’s on 7 November.

The themed Richmond location will focus on goods for Christmas, summer, and the holiday season – but it will also include household items, Bric-à-brac, and electrical items.

Shoppers have shared their thoughts on the pop-up locations online.

‘They have all the trending products – it’s so awesome,’ one said.

‘I bought a hair dryer from Vinnies and I’m obsessed with
    it,’ another wrote.

‘I always have such good luck at Vinnies, I have to go,’ a woman added.

For those interested in the finer things, shoppers have discovered a ‘hidden gem’ discount retailer where you can find designer buys from brands like Fendi, Dior,
    and Aje for affordable prices.

TK Maxx – which has stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia –
is the answer to buying new clothes and shoes on a budget.

    South Australia

Beth Zazlan, from Queensland, recently found a gold
mine of clothing lines from Australian brands like Camilla and Marc, Acler, Bec+Bridge, Shona Joy, Dion Lee, Zimmerman, and Acler.

‘I was there for a pillow but I ended up grabbing some sparkly earrings
from [American jewellery brand] Badgley Mischka,’ Beth told FEMAIL.

TK Maxx sells old stock from previous seasons – and shoppers have described it
    as a ‘clearance treasure hunt’.

Many have seen bags from Fendi, Dior, and Bottega Venetta on sale.

Others have spotted Gucci and Versace sunglasses,
Hugo Boss accessories, and Christopher Esber dresses.

Beth said, ‘I was truly blown away – so if you’re
looking for a bargain, head there.’

A David Jones employee revealed in a comment that discounted items from stores
that aren’t sold are shipped to TK Maxx.

Lady Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky headed out in Venice, Italy on Tuesday evening ahead of
the premiere of her new film, Joker: Folie à Deux.

The singer, 38, who stars as Harley Quinn in the upcoming thriller, wore a bright red chiffon gown, with a pleated skirt for
    a Warner Bros. dinner.

Gaga, who has been seen flashing her engagement ring,
accessorised with a black scarf and a pair of sunglasses, despite it being dark.

Michael, a tech entrepreneur, opted for a black shirt with a pair of
    smart grey trousers.

Folie à Deux will premiere at the 81st Annual Venice Film Festival later
this week, which will see Joaquin Phoenix, 49, reprise his role as
    Arthur Fleck AKA Joker.

The singer, 38, who stars as Harley Quinn in the upcoming
thriller, wore a bright red chiffon gown, with a pleated skirt for a
    Warner Bros. dinner.

It is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2019’s Academy Award-winning Joker, which earned more than $1 billion at the global
box office and remains the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

Set for release on October 4, the second instalment finds Arthur Fleck
institutionalised at Arkham awaiting trial for
    his crimes as Joker.

‘While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but
also finds the music that’s always been inside him,’ a press
    release shared.

Lady Gaga has been supported by her fiancé Michael in the lead up to the thriller’s premiere.

The couple was first romantically linked around New Year’s Eve 2019 and
later went Instagram official in early 2020.

Polansky is a 2006 graduate of Harvard University and runs
Napster founder Sean Parker’s Parker Group.

Throughout their years dating, Gaga and Polansky have attended
the Super Bowl, the BAFTAs, and the Critics Choice Awards together.

Wedding plans for the couple are underway and their legal
    plan is being negotiated.

Gaga is reportedly seeking a $900 million prenup before she walks down the aisle.

And Polansky, who has a $600 million net worth as head of The Parker Foundation,
    is on board.

A source close to the couple told In Touch that ‘there are a lot of
assets on both sides, and a prenup will just make everything
    clear.’

Gaga ‘is worth $900 million, so of course there needs to
be a prenup in place,’ the insider said. ‘And Michael understands that.
    He’s not resisting it.’

  75. July 23 (Reuters) – Philip Morris International
pushed the test-launch of its heated tobacco device,
IQOS, in the U.S. to the fourth quarter on Tuesday and lowered its annual forecast for the
    heated tobacco business.

The pilot was earlier scheduled to run in Austin, Texas, in the second quarter, for which
the company reported results on the day.

The company declined to comment on why the launch had been delayed.

Philip Morris has invested billions to promote and expand its portfolio of alternatives to
traditional combustible cigarettes amid stricter regulations and falling smoking rates in some markets.

The launch of its flagship heated tobacco device
in the United States is also facing resistance from health campaigners, who have written to regulators
in the country accusing the company of misrepresenting past regulatory decisions, Reuters reported last week.

The company also awaits market authorization from the U.S.

Food and Drug Administration for its IQOS ILUMA device, which it expects by
    the second half of 2025.

A ban on flavored heated tobacco in the European Union has
already hit shipments this year, with Philip Morris saying the impact
from the ban was “slightly greater” than previously assumed.

This led the company to temper its expectations for volume growth in the heated tobacco category to around 13% for the full year,
down from between 14% and 16% expected earlier.

However, Philip Morris topped quarterly expectations and raised its
annual sales and profit forecasts, betting on demand for its Zyn nicotine pouches, as well as higher cigarette pricing.

LONDON, Sept 28 (Reuters) – Philip Morris International
(PMI) on Thursday signalled a slower than anticipated U.S.
roll out of its IQOS heated tobacco device,
a choice analysts said was positive for its competitors in the
    short term.

The New York-listed Marlboro maker also said it aims for more than two thirds of its
net revenues to come from “smoke-free” products by 2030, up
from 50% in 2025, as it tries to transform its image from a
cigarette purveyor to a driver of the shift to healthier alternatives.

Investors have been closely watching IQOS’ entry into the U.S., the world’s largest market for nicotine products, and had been expecting it from May 2024 next year.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that PMI is hiring lobbyists across a host of
key U.S. states ahead of the launch.

Chief Executive Jacek Olczak said IQOS would launch in four cities in two unnamed U.S.
states from 2024, but a national launch would only come after PMI receives approval to sell the latest
    version, known as IQOS ILUMA.

The company was planning to apply for approval in October and expected it from 2025, he continued.

“We need to warm up the tyres,” he said of the initial launch,
which would help PMI fine tune its approach.

A national roll-out of ILUMA would follow but in phases, he continued, adding launching in 10 states
in the first year would make sense.

Meaningful traction for PMI’s heated tobacco products in the U.S.
“now looks delayed until ILUMA,” Owen Bennett, equity analyst at
Jefferies, said in a note, adding this was
    a positive for PMI’s rivals.

Olczak also signalled that PMI’s push into non-nicotine
products was no longer a priority. It recently scrapped an ambition for
$1 billion in net revenues to come from sales
    of such products by 2025.

Instead, PMI will focus its resources on IQOS and nicotine pouch brand ZYN, Olczak said,
adding it had been too optimistic around acceptance of big tobacco companies operating outside of nicotine.

PMI also announced updated medium-term targets including for revenue and
earnings per share, and ambitious volume targets for IQOS
    and ZYN.

ZYN and other oral nicotine products in the U.S.
would help drive an expected $2 billion in revenues there
in 2024, even before IQOS ILUMA, executives said.

PMI shares were up 1.5% on Thursday. (Reporting by Emma Rumney
