Gratitude is a state of being grateful. When we see good things done for us by men or God, we always respond with gratitude.

But I also say that gratitude is a state of keeping God’s given standard despite the situations we find ourselves.
God out of Love gave us his only son, the greatest way to reciprocate is to Love him back and your love for him can involve difficulties here on earth but the joy and spiritual happiness in you helps you to maintain a righteous state.
Your gratitude also influences your work for God and walk with God.
It’s a state of the mind!
There are multiple principles and commandments guiding the Christian journey.
All the rules are summarized into Love.
The love of Man to God will make him obey and follow his leadings.
When God says ‘serve me’, you don’t just want to serve anyhow, but you wish to serve him just the way he wants.

God demands a service out of Gladness, and we appear before his presence with singing.

Gladness and Joy both deal with a state of Happiness. Joy is a fruit of the spirit. Gratitude is not gratitude until joy is included!
