Attending the event, which took place during the 81st Venice International Film Festival, the siblings stood side-by-side while smiling for photos
at Sala Grande.
Folie à Deux will see Joaquin, 49, reprise his role as Arthur Fleck AKA Joker and is set
for release on October 4.
The actor wore a smart black tuxedo with a white shirt, bow tie and a pair
of sunglasses for the hotly-anticipated event.
Rain, 51, wore a brown velvet gown and donned stylish oversized shades as she posed with her brother.

The film is the much-anticipated follow-up to 2019’s Academy
Award-winning Joker, which earned more than $1 billion at
the global box office and remains the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
The second instalment finds Arthur Fleck institutionalised at Arkham awaiting trial for
his crimes as Joker.
‘While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him,’
a press release shared.
The last time that Joaquin played The Joker, Arthur Fleck, he had to drop three and a
half stone. He went on a diet of lettuce, asparagus and apples.
Five years later he has returned to the Oscar-winning role again in – and says that he had to lose almost the same amount of weight once more, and
is never doing it again.
Speaking at the Venice Film Festival he said: ‘I’m not going
to talk through specifics of the diet, because I just think
nobody wants to hear that.
‘But this time, it felt a bit more complicated just because there was so much dance rehearsal that we
were doing, which I didn’t have last time.
‘It felt a bit more difficult, but it is safe. But you’re
right, I’m now 49, I probably shouldn’t do this again.
This is probably it for me.’
The actor, 49, wore a smart black tuxedo with a white shirt,
bow tie and a pair of sunglasses for the hotly-anticipated event

‘By the end of that run I was so sick of myself and angry at myself for making such a

Anthony Albanese has tried to claim his relationship with Alan Joyce was a
strictly professional one between a Prime Minister and a
corporate titan, as he battles claims the Qantas boss was his ‘personal travel agent’ for free flights and upgrades.
However that characterization of the relationship was at odds with that made
by Mr Joyce, who said he was ‘good mates’ with Mr Albanese and had been ‘for
years’.
In the wake of the explosive claims that the Prime Minister had Mr Joyce arrange free tickets and
upgrades, Mr Albanese distanced himself from the Qantas chief.
When asked about about their relationship on Sunday Mr Albanese implied it was purely in a
professional capacity, having been Transport Minister and shadow transport
spokesperson before becoming Prime Minister.
‘He (Joyce) was the CEO of the national airline … I had the same relationship with him that
I have with John Borghetti as the CEO of Virgin,’ Mr
Albanese said.
That assessment was at odds with the many photos showing
Mr Albanese and Mr Joyce apparently greatly enjoying each other’s
company.
Mr Albanese and Mr Joyce were pictured in high spirits on the red carpet at the Qantas 100th Gala Dinner in March last
year.
In photos from the event, Mr Joyce proudly walks the red carpet with one arm around the
prime minister and the other around Mr Albanese’s partner, Jodie Haydon.
Just five months later, in August, a smiling Mr Albanese attended Qantas’s unveiling of it’s special ‘Yes 23′ emblazoned airplanes for the Voice referendum.
Former Qantas CEO Alan Joyce jovially walked the red carpet with one arm around the prime
minister and the other around his partner, Jodie Haydon for a special anniversary event last year
Mr Joyce was seen touching Mr Albanese’s arm, with the PM bursting into laughter.
Even when Scott Morrison was PM, Mr Joyce enjoyed an apparently close relationship with Mr Albanese as the pair stood close together at the
launch of the Qantas’ landmark Perth to London flight in March,
2018.
During a Senate hearing in September 2023, Mr Joyce said
he had been ‘friends for years’ with Mr Albanese.
Asked about why he gifted Mr Albanese’s son Nathan a membership to the prestigious and
exclusive Chairman’s Lounge Mr Joyce refused to confirm or deny but
talked up his relationship with the Prime Minister.
‘I’ve been good mates with Albo for some time,’ Mr Joyce said.
However, the then Qantas CEO refused to say whether he lobbied the Prime Minister
on the controversial decision to lock competitor Qatar Airways out of domestic routes.
It has since emerged in a new book about Qantas,
The Chairman’s Lounge, by former Australian Financial Review columnist Joe Aston that Ms Haydon is also a Chairman’s Lounge
member.

Reports have emerged in a new book Mr Albanese received 22 upgrades from economy
from Qantas and he would liaise personally with the former
airline boss for them.
Aston also alleged Mr Albanese directly contacted Mr Joyce while in his various parliamentary jobs to
ask for special upgrades for himself or his family.
According to unnamed Qantas ‘insiders’ 11 of the 22 flights Mr Albanese received upgrades for were
‘privately funded’ and included overseas trips to Rome,
London, Los Angeles and Honolulu, with some being for holidays.
Mr Albanese insisted on Tuesday that the London flights was for work purposes and all were ‘declared in the
appropriate way’.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has leapt on the accusations describing Mr Albanese as being the ‘best friend’ of Mr Joyce.
Mr Dutton told Sky News on Monday night it was ‘strange’ Mr Albanese had directly contacted
Mr Joyce to request upgrades while holding a regulatory position in the transport sector.
‘If you’re the Transport Minister and you’re picking up the phone
to one of the most important stakeholders in the portfolio asking for a free upgrade, then again, I think the Prime Minister would
be able to answer those questions more effectively
than anyone else because I’m not aware of anyone else having done it,’ Mr Dutton said.
It has since emerged that Ms Haydon also has membership
of the Qantas Chairman’s Lounge
The Prime Minister denied frequently asking Mr Joyce for upgrades on Tuesday at press conference in the
NSW city of Newcastle.
‘The only discussions that I can recall with Alan Joyce certainly were not discussed through calls –
we discussed the first flight from Australia to Dubai on the A380,’ he said.
‘I’ve declared everything in accordance with all of the rules.’
Aston was asked on Monday night by ABC interviewer Sarah
Ferguson about how confident he was that Mr Albanese
had made calls personally to Mr Joyce for upgrades.
‘I am very comfortable with my sourcing,’ Aston said.
Asked whether he thought Mr Albanese had been influenced by Mr Joyce’s lobbying
to block UAE airline Qatar domestically Aston said it was ‘implausible’ to think that the Prime Minister’s
office had nothing to do with the decision.
Mr Albanese’s son Nathan, 24, has reportedly also been granted access to
the Qantas Chairman’s Lounge (pictured, Mr Albanese and son Nathan in May, 2022)
‘It’s very hard to imagine a decision of any political
sensitivity in the Albanese government that would not go through the
Prime Minister’s office,’ Aston replied.
He noted the opening up of the Australian domestic market Qatar had seemingly been sailing through with
Transport Minister Catherine King speaking warmly about the proposal until ‘everything changed’
to stop it dead in tracks.
Ms King repeatedly denied in parliament the decision to block Qatar was due to Qantas lobbying her or any Labor colleagues.
Despite Mr Albanese claiming he declared every upgrade received from Qantas the
Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday that he
failed to do for his former wife Carmel Tebbutt when the two traveled together.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has questioned the alleged
personal requests Mr Albanese made to Mr Joyce while in his various parliamentary jobs
Even when Scott Morrison was prime minister, Mr Joyce appeared to have a close
relationship with Mr Albanese (the pair are pictured at an event
in 2019)
Sky New host Sharri Markson on Monday night labeled Mr Joyce as ‘basically Albanese’s
personal travel agent.’
‘This is all a question of integrity. Most Australians struggle to afford even an economy airfare.
They’d never be able to afford the luxury of business class.
It’s out of our reach,’ she said.
‘Can Albanese truly be impartial when it comes to making decisions about Qantas
when he’s been getting tens of thousands of dollars worth of free upgrades to business class?
The revelations puts the decision he made as transport minister and prime minister under a cloud.
‘Aside from the integrity issues, this revelation is also politically lethal.
Albanese took care to curate a self-image of a
housing commission boy who made it. But now the perception is cementing of a long-term pollie enjoying the perks of public office.’
Another awkward paradox of Mr Albanese’s apparent close relationship with Mr Joyce is that the Labor leader in a trade
unionist advocate while Qantas attempted to break the power of
the Transport Workers Union by sacking 1700
staff during Covid.
The sacking has since been ruled illegal by Federal Court in a case
brought by the union with Qantas facing possible hundreds of thousands in compensation payouts.
The friendship however did find one perhaps unlikely defender
in semi-retired 3AW radio star Neil Mitchell.
‘Quick test: upgrade Albo is a bad look,’ Mitchell wrote on X.
‘But does anybody believe he was seriously compromised by having Alan Joyce as a bestie?
Time to rewrite rules governing politicians.’

Lady Gaga is getting back to basics.
Following her panned performance in the flop movie Joker: Folie à Deux, the New York
City native, 38, is releasing a single titled Disease, set to be released Friday.
Diesase, the first of songs from her forthcoming seventh album, was teased Tuesday on the Grammy-winning artist’s Instagram account, as she captioned the image: ‘DISEASE 10.25.’
In a teaser clip from the viewpoint of an approaching
vehicle, the actress-singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, sported a black mane as she ran from it.
Gaga’s label Universal Music on Monday put out pre-saves for the forthcoming single,
with links to Spotify and Apple Music, Variety reported.

The singer, whose hits include Bad Romance, Born This Way, Just Dance and Poker Face, is headed back to her pop persona following the September release of her album Harlequin, which was inspired by Joker:

Joe Aston got the kind of book launch every first time author dreams of –
massive amounts of free publicity online, in newspapers and on TV and radio.
And it was all thanks to Anthony Albanese’s ill-informed attack
on Aston over what was written in his book, The Chairman’s Lounge – The
Inside Story of how Qantas sold us out.
Despite the resultant terrible publicity – which has led to him being called ‘upgrade Albo’ – and calls for an inquiry, Aston told Daily Mail Australia his book is ‘not a
hit job on Anthony Albanese’.
Aston insisted he’s ‘not trying to get a scalp’, but reiterated that the
Prime Minister ‘had a direct line to Alan Joyce’.
The book claims Mr Albanese got 22 upgrades from economy on Qantas flights by personally requesting
them from the airline’s then CEO Mr Joyce – which the Prime Minister has categorically
denied.
According to unnamed Qantas ‘insiders’, 11 of the 22 flights Mr Albanese got upgrades for
were ‘privately funded’ and included overseas trips to Rome, London, Los Angeles and Honolulu.
But instead of addressing the claim, Mr Albanese chose to shoot the messenger and, in turn, shot himself in the foot.
He said Aston was using the accusations to sell books and said
he was hiding his employment history.
‘I don’t see declarations that he’s a former Liberal Party staffer… I don’t see declarations he’s a former
Qantas employee,’ the Prime Minister said.
But before the book even gets to the contents page there
is a photo of Aston that refers to him as the then-Qantas corporate communications senior adviser.

And the first chapter of the book reveals that he worked
for then-Liberal MP Bruce Baird, who held the southern Sydney seat of Cook
before Scott Morrison.
‘My professional history is not a secret or not disclosed, it’s in the first line of the first page
of the book,’ Aston said on Tuesday night, just before his book launch.
Though he was grateful for the free publicity Mr Albanese’s response
gave the book, Aston was still ‘staggered’ at the untrue claims about him the
Prime Minister made.
‘He’s under enormous pressure and I know, I’ve seen this many times with public figures and leaders who struggle to see their own part
in it, the terrible circumstances that they create,’ he said.

Asked if Mr Albanese had been poorly advised
in his attack, Aston, who is a former Australian Financial Review columnist, wonders if
the Prime Minister ‘even listens to advice at this point’.
‘All he’s doing is talking around the issue and he’s
blaming me and he’s blaming other MP’s for also taking upgrades
(on Qantas flights).
‘He’s avoiding the only thing that he can’t talk about,
which is, did you ask Qantas for confirmed upgrades on your private holidays when you were the
Transport Minister? The answer is “yes” and he’s desperately trying to avoid saying it.’
Smelling blood, Opposition leader Peter Dutton said the
Prime Minister should refer himself to the anti-corruption commission over the flight upgrades.
Coming on top of Mr Albanese’s tone deaf purchase of a $4.3million clifftop mansion while so many people are struggling to pay their mortgage or
rent, the latest blow to his credibility has led to calls for him to resign.
Aston refuses to be drawn on this, though.
‘I never expected this (part of the book) to even this part to get this far.
I really am shocked at how it’s blown up.

‘So to the extent that it has, I would say … anyone who reads the book will
learn that this book is not a hit job on Anthony Albanese.
This book is about Qantas.
‘Anthony Albanese is an example of how Qantas influences
politicians on both sides of the aisle, Labor, Liberal, National, you name it.
They’ve been doing it for more than a generation.
‘They’re the best influence peddler in Australia. I’m not here
trying to get a scalp. That’s not what this book is about
and it never was.’
But the conversation Daily Mail Australia had with Aston mirrors the conversations
being had across Australia and eventually winds up
back on Mr Albanese.
‘Even I’ve underestimated how fed up the
public is with the freebie mindset of politicians,’ he said.

‘And unfortunately for Albanese, he’s been in politics a
long time and that kind of behaviour is quite normalised to him, is what I’ve seen.
‘I mean, he loves the free concert tickets and sitting
at the front row of the Australian Open Tennis.
‘I went to the Australian Open Tennis as a journalist almost every year
for 12 years and he was the only Prime Minister (I saw
there).
‘Those tickets are worth thousands of dollars to sit in the front
row of the International Grand Slam. He’s the first Prime Minister who I’ve ever seen do
that.
‘That to me is a sign that he doesn’t quite get what it
looks like to others when he’s on the gravy train. And I think (the claims in the
book are) just another example of that.’
In Australian politics it’s regular practise for an MP’s travel to be booked in economy, then someone in their office phones
the airline and asks if their flight can be upgraded.
The difference with the Prime Minister is that ‘he had a very direct line
to Alan Joyce,’ Aston said.
‘The other thing is there’s a difference between an upgrade where it’s in the booking and if
the seat’s empty when the flight closes, you’ll
get upgraded.
‘This is different. This is a confirmed upgrade where the ticket is converted and you are guaranteed.
You’re not going to the airport crossing your fingers going “Geez, I hope there is a spare seat”.
‘You’re guaranteed. You turn up knowing you’re
getting a seat and the only person at Qantas who
can issue those types of upgrades is the CEO.
No other executive can do that.
‘So it is beyond question that Alan joints authorised these upgrades (for Anthony
Albanese).’
Aston enjoyed many upgrades to the pointy end of planes
during his time as a travel journalist, and understands
the attraction for politicians to get up there.
‘These things are tempting and it’s human nature too.
Once you’ve experienced the front of the plane, it’s very hard to go back.
‘For politicians, they run around with all these staff and they’ve got chauffeured cars and they fly in business, but they don’t get paid like CEOs …
‘They’re not in a situation where they can afford to
go flying around in the front of the plane on personal travel.
‘A normal person would say “Therefore I won’t (fly business class). But (for politicians) it’s a culture of entitlement.’
Aston is careful to point out that most people would say politicians are ‘very well paid compared to the average worker’.
But that doesn’t stop some MPs from desperately seeking a free ride, whether it’s a flight upgrade, concert tickets or the executive box at sporting events.
Late on Wednesday night, a spokeswoman Mr Albanese said ‘The Prime Minister did not ever call Alan Joyce seeking an upgrade’.
‘All travel has been appropriately declared and is a matter of public record.’

Joker: Folie à Deux was quickly booted from its top spot at the box office after
only one week and replaced by a spooky new champ.
With Halloween quickly approaching, Terrifier 3 slashed its
way to the top of the box office over the weekend.
The plot about a deadly clown named Art, determined to literally
kill the Christmas holiday spirit in a small town, earned $18.3 million at the box
office according to The Numbers.
The low-budget thriller, made for about $2 million and written and directed by Damien Leone, is
an un-rated blood fest, which has received a 78-percent rating
from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences have ‘certified’ it ‘hot’ and given it a healthy 90-percent on the popcornmeter.
Holding on to second place was The Wild Robot, an animated adventure about a robot named Roz who is
stranded on a small island after being shipwrecked.
There, she bonds with the animals, who are her new neighbors, and begins taking care of an orphaned goose.
Lupita Nyong’o voices Roz, while Pedro Pascal, Mark Hamill,
Catherine O’Hara and Ving Rhames offer their voices to other characters.

A billionaire couple have won the right to remove a single tree from the driveway of their lavish $20million mansion after being blocked by their local council.
Paul Holmes a Court, the son of Australia’s first billionaire
Robert Holmes a Court, and his wife Zara had
been at loggerheads with their local council over a request to remove a single peppermint tree growing in the middle of their driveway.
The couple bought the four-bedroom mansion in the affluent, tree-lined suburb overlooking Perth’s
Freshwater Bay for $20.1million in August.
They wanted to remove the tree but the Shire of Peppermint Grove refused the request on the grounds the tree
was not dead or deceased.
‘We are very lucky to live here, but I have to say that the tree placement is unusual,’ Ms Holmes a Court previously told a council meeting.
‘I’m quite a reasonable and rational person, but a tree in the middle of the driveway makes it quite tricky to reverse out.’
The couple enjoyed a breakthrough at a council meeting last week after an alternative motion was unanimously passed that allowed the tree to
be removed on the condition they paid a $2,500 bond before
any work was done on the driveway.
They will also need to plant two replacement trees on their property.

Ms Holmes a Court previously claimed the tree’s odd placement also made it difficult to spot cars turning the corner

After the motion to remove the tree was passed at the meeting,
councillor Douglas Jackson said it was a ‘good outcome’.
‘I think it meets both the owners’ wants, or expectation, but also matches the council’s needs
at the same time by ensuring that there is tree cover on the verge
of that property,’ he said.
Peppermint Grove is hoping to implement a policy that would even make it an offence to damage or remove any mature trees on private property without council approval.
Last month, WA Planning Minister John Carey said he hoped the Shire of Peppermint Grove would ‘take a common sense approach’
to the issue.
‘This is part of the challenge that we do have with local government.
I’ve always been on the record that we need local governments to take
a common sense approach to issues,’ Mr Carey told the West Australian.
‘And I understand people are passionate about trees. But ultimately, we

‘Tell them how you feel, Joaquin,’ Lady Gaga, 38, said to
her costar as she held out a fake microphone in front of him.
‘It’s so hard to talk about but I think we feel like we achieved what we set
out to do,’ Joaquin, 49, simply stated.
Someone on X, formerly Twitter, posted the moment online last week and
it went viral, gaining more then 437,000 views in a matter
of days – and many users took their initial silence as proof that they ‘didn’t like’ the film.
The internet has been flooded with negative posts about the flick ever since it premiered, with one user branding it as a ‘bore’ and another claiming it had ‘no
plot.’
Many social media users have also slammed the movie’s final scene, which saw main character Arthur Fleck (portrayed by Joaquin) brutally stabbed to death by a fellow inmate.
This meant that the man that audiences had been watching over the
course of the two movies was never the Joker
at all, but in fact, the infamous villain from the Batman series was really just the random inmate who killed Arthur
in the last moments of the film.
The shocking twist left numerous viewers unsatisfied, and they took
to social media to share their frustration.
While chatting with Good Morning Britain last week, the two
stars were asked if the movie turned out to be ‘everything they expected’

‘The ending made the movie a complete waste,’ one outraged user wrote.
‘The ending was pathetic,’ scathed someone else. ‘WTF you mean no Joker?’
‘The ending made no sense,’ added another person.
‘That ending? It’s so bad that not only it ruins Joker 2 but
also the first Joker for the audience,’ read a fourth tweet.
‘The Joker had so much potential but that f**king ending ruined everything,’ a fifth said.
The Todd Phillips-directed musical serves as a follow-up to the
2019 box office hit, which was simply titled Joker.
The first film grossed over $1 billion and
at the time was the highest-grossing R-rated film of all
time. It received 11 Oscar nominations – two of which
it won.
The sequel, however, has already been much less successful.
It had a lackluster $40 million debut at the box office in its first weekend, and has a low rating of 33 percent and 31 percent
on Rotten Tomatoes.
‘Undoing much of the goodwill from its predecessor, the sequel convolutes what could have been a unique character study into a bloated encore that goes out with a whimper,’ reads one review.
Another critic wrote, ‘This movie is a disjointed mess and a
waste of time. It’s just tired, not particularly interesting, but
it does look good from a production design standpoint.’

Art collector Sandra Powell was travelling in Japan when she heard about a vacant storefront at one
end of Melbourne’s street art mecca, Hosier Lane.
She couldn’t get back to Australia fast enough. Powell and her partner Andrew
King (together known as Sandrew) are the biggest collectors of street art in Australia, and the location was perfect for an exhibition of their greatest hits.
They pulled together a show featuring 100 works including some by the world’s biggest names in street art, from Banksy
to Blak le Rat and Invader, in just six weeks.
There’s a whole room of Banksys on show, including a never-before-seen sculpture titled Firewall –
a computer set-up with a brick wall in place of a computer screen.
“It’s the highest level of security you will ever get on your computer,” joked Powell.
The vacant shop was previously a high-end menswear store, and the super-quick installation time
has meant some innovations – such as another Banksy sculpture (a riot squad helmet converted into a
mirror ball) displayed in a former changeroom.
The free exhibition titled The Outsiders Melbourne is set to become a tourist
drawcard over summer, and Sandrew’s hope is that it could lead to a
permanent space for work by the city’s street artists.
“This is our gift to the people of Melbourne,” said King.
“Our aim is to have a Melbourne centre for street art and to make Melbourne the number one street art capital of the world.”
While The Outsiders brings the city’s street art scene firmly inside, the
movement’s anti-authoritarian humour is very much on show.
By the entrance there’s a Big Bird soft toy gaffer
taped to a wall, opposite a 2002 stencil by DLux that reads “Don’t be scared, it’s only street art”.
While there are some big international names, much of
the art is by local stars including Rone, Matt
Adnate, Kaff-eine and E.L.K.
Rone, who held his own exhibition above Flinders Street Station in 2023, didn’t believe it would be possible
to stage such a big show so quickly, but hopes it will
boost the city’s appreciation of its street art movement.
“I feel like this is the tip of the iceberg of how much stuff there is to show and discuss, and to educate people that it’s more than just a tag,” Rone told AAP.
The question that dogs exhibitions such as this is whether street art can retain its spirit and energy when shown on a gallery wall.
But for Rone, who started off doing graffiti in Hosier Lane,
it’s not something that matters too much.
“This is almost like a documentation of street art, it captures artists’ styles in the moment they’ve painted it, which reflects what they’ve probably painted on the street,” he said.
“It’s not exactly the same context and environment, but it still is that artist’s true work.”
Sandrew have been buying street art for 15 years, as well as advising artists and championing
the street art community, which generally works outside the commercial gallery system.
“I’ve never actually witnessed that in the art world, ever … They’re actually family to so many of us,” said Matt Adnate.
The movement has evolved from tags to large-scale pieces, stencils and murals
– but along with the increasingly sophisticated street art
comes gentrification, said Rone.
“I’ve seen laneways change, where people dump rubbish the week before, and we go and paint a mural – next Sunday, people have a barbecue there, there’s an instant change that happens,’ he said.
The Outsiders Melbourne runs Thursday to May 25 at Level 1, 167 Flinders Lane, Melbourne.

Speaking at the Venice Film Festival he said: ‘I’m not going to talk through specifics of the
diet, because I just think nobody wants to hear that.
‘But this time, it felt a bit more complicated just because there was so much dance rehearsal that we were doing, which I didn’t have last time.
‘It felt a bit more difficult, but it is safe. But you’re right,
I’m now 49, I probably shouldn’t do this again. This is probably it for me.’

rights to no less than four of her books this
year), Emily Henry returned with a novel about Daphne,
whose fiancé Peter has just ditched her for
his childhood best friend Petra. So Daphne begins a new story, moving in with none other than Petra’s ex,
Miles, and devising a plan to trick their former partners into thinking they’ve
moved on together.
But it’s all just for show, of course, because there’s no way Daphne would actually start her new
chapter by falling in love with her ex-fiancé’s new fiancée’s ex…
right?
The Safe Keep by Yael Van Der Wouden
We usually steer clear of the Booker shortlist (intellectuals that we are) but Van Der Wouden’s novel about the Holocaust’s legacy is gripping (and
actually understandable).
It’s set in 1960s Holland, where a lonely young woman,
Isabel, is safeguarding her inheritance. Her life
is turned upside down when her brother’s girlfriend, Eva, comes
to stay uninvited – and the two start to experience unignorable physical longings.
It’s a story combining sexual and moral awakenings, and
a refreshing way to discuss perhaps the most written about era
in history.
The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley
Easily the most talked about debut of 2024, The Ministry
of Time is set in the near future, when a disaffected civil servant
is offered a lucrative job in a new mysterious government ministry
