Mansa Cole releases his official music debut today, in collaboration with Swedish-based Afrobeats musician, Dare Sweet.
Mansa Cole (real names Daniel Cole Chiori) is popularly known for his works in the music business and talent management with Achievas Entertainment. He hones credit for executing some of the biggest music live shows such as the madly raved about OLIC, as well as his role in producing some of Nollywood’s top-grossing films. Having spent a period of time incubating ideas and bringing them to life, and in an association of global stars like Davido, Burnaboy and Runtown, he is now moving to actualize his dream of exploring life under the bright lights in true star fashion.
He makes his official music debut with a brand new single titled ‘Summer Baddie,’ a conscious musical that microscopes into some popular myths bordering on body positivity while using social media as a point for perspective. Our mobile age has made us become too familiar with concepts such as ‘summerbody’ and the activities that surround attaining this goal. Young adults are going hard on fitness routines just to reach their body goals so that they can flaunt it during summertime, while others have employed the use of body enhancers such as waist trainers to create the impression of having the desired body figure. These are the contexts i.e, summer vibes, partying, sunbathing, being outside etc alongside similar social media posts with high engagement from online followers that have inspired the creation of this song.
‘Summer Baddie’ is produced by Egar Boi who has worked extensively with Yemi Alade as well as DJ Kaywise, Oxlade and Ice Prince. The song was created with the vibes of summer in mind and features a super slick vocal delivery from Dare Sweet to cap it off.
