Zana Ruse, a student of Prudent Gabriel’s Prudential Fashion Academy recently presented her final project at the fashion school and it wowed the viewing public.

The amazing lady went above and beyond for the job, creating a gold ensemble that was highly influenced by Iman Abdulmajid’s Met Gala outfit in 2021.

Remember when the Somalian top model astonished the fashion world with an otherworldly custom brocade bustier and trousers, completed with a tiered, golden feather cage overskirt and bespoke matching headpiece? Dolce & Gabbana collaborated with British-American designer Harris Reed to create the look.

Zana put forth the effort and produced something that was strikingly comparable to Iman’s. While the 66-year-old model matched her outfit with a matching headpiece, Zana decided for a different look with fringe details and a horsetail-like hand adornment.

The Prudential Fashion Academy is one of the most prominent fashion schools in Nigeria, producing over 200 astoundingly creative fashion designers across the country.
