The new size of Andrews liver salt shows that the company has significantly reduced the content of the sachet.

This is not the first product that has been forced to take such drastic measures in Nigeria due to the rate of inflation. Foods and beverages like Gala sausage, Titus Sardines, and co have reduced the content of their products and now Andrews Liver Salt.

For food products like Sardines, reduction of content is understandable but in the case of Andrews liver salt, there is argument that the content is a single dose and the inflation does not warrant reduction of the dose for you. It’s like saying Panadol is getting smaller because Gala and Sardines are getting smaller when a single tab must remain 500mg.
