    Gregg has been accused of taking his top off in front of a female worker saying he wanted to

    On one occasion he allegedly told a junior female colleague he wasn’t
    wearing any boxer shorts under his jeans.

    The BBC has revealed that 13 people, including Kirsty Wark,
    have complained about his conduct while working
    with him over a 17-year period across five shows,
    from 2005 to 2022.

    Kirsty claims that on two occasions Gregg told stories and jokes of a ‘sexualised nature’ in front of
    contestants and crew while filming Celebrity MasterChef in 2011.
    She said his gags and comments were ‘really, really in the wrong place’.

    As their race for the US presidency comes down to the wire, each major candidate has
    leaned heavily on a favorite theme — abortion rights for
    Democrat Kamala Harris and border security for Republican Donald Trump.

    In Arizona, their ideological duel has reached a white-hot peak, with both topics the subject of fiercely debated ballot referendums.

    And in this key southwestern state — where the billionaire Trump lost
    to President Joe Biden in 2020 by a tiny margin of about 10,500 votes
    — every ballot truly will count.

    In the mid-sized city of Tucson, hundreds of volunteers in orange T-shirts were going door-to-door to try to persuade
    voters to back a ballot measure to inscribe abortion rights in the state constitution — and, while they’re at it, to vote for Vice President Harris.

    To Grace Ireland, a 26-year-old activist, the abortion restrictions imposed by several Republican-controlled states amount
    to “a public health crisis that Donald Trump and the Republicans have created.”

    She added, “Democrats and Kamala Harris are trying to push us forward and protect women’s health care and protect our democracy and protect all people.”

    Since 2022, when the US Supreme Court ended the constitutional protection of federal abortion rights,
    Ireland, a registered nurse, has worked in several

    He also worries about the flow of undocumented migrants that
    have entered the country from Mexico during the Biden-Harris administration.

    “My grandparents migrated from Mexico to the United States, and they did it the right way.”

    So he plans not only to vote for Trump, but to back the proposal to let local
    law enforcement detain, arrest and prosecute anyone suspected of having entered
    the country illegally — powers normally reserved

    “I know people that work for the Border Patrol, and they’re really upset because this current administration has really tied their hands up. They’re not really able to do anything,” Lopez said.

    The major political parties see the competing referendums as offering an opportunity to
    mobilize more people to vote — on ballot questions at the very heart of the two presidential campaigns.

    But the referendums may not have the clear
    impact on the race for the White House that activists hope.

    Polls show Trump and Harris running neck-and-neck in Arizona,
    with the Republican holding a very narrow lead.

    Both ballot questions, meantime, have drawn strong support and both appear likely to pass.

    So the abortion issue may not be “helping Democrats in the way that they would hope,” said Jenny
    Brian, a professor of bioethics at Arizona State University.

    Many Republican women will vote both to protect abortion rights and to
    bring Trump back to the White House, Brian said.

    Though abortion is sometimes framed as a Democrat vs. Republican issue, the Republican Party
    includes “a broad spectrum of views on the topic,” an issue
    that also raises conservatives’ concerns about “government interference,” she added.

    The same dynamic applies to immigration, with the tougher
    language on the Arizona ballot question finding support not just among Trump Republicans but also “moderates and even many Democrats,” said John Kavanagh,
    a Republican and an Arizona state senator.

    The 74-year-old Kavanagh is unimpressed by Harris’s recent
    toughening on migration, specifically her promise to maintain the partial
    closing of the border Biden ordered in recent months.

    that the bill was on someone else. Because caviar,

    cheap. There may have been other things on the menu, but no one paid them
    much heed. This was all about lashings of the black stuff.

    Caviar Kaspia’s signature baked potato and caviar: ‘there are few better dishes on earth…only
    the price, at just under £150, is ridiculous’

    Caviar Kaspia popped her final tin about two decades back.
    And that site, hidden down a smart Mayfair mews,
    was taken over by Gavin Rankin (who used to be the boss), and transformed
    into the brilliant Bellamy’s. It prospers to
    this day. Kaspia, on the other hand, went quiet.
    Until last year, when she reopened as a members’
    club in another Mayfair backstreet. But a £2,000 a year membership fee proved hard to swallow, meaning the doors were opened to the great unwashed.

    Which is how we find ourselves sitting in a rather
    handsome – albeit near empty – dining room, lusciously lavish,
    under the stern gaze of a stern painting of a very stern man.
    The soft, crepuscular gloom is broken up by the glare of table
    lamps, indecorously bright, while a loud soundtrack of indolent, indeterminate
    beats throbs in the background. The whole place is
    scented with gilded ennui.

    Our fellow diners are two young South Korean women of pale, luminescent
    beauty, clad in diaphanous couture. They don’t speak, rather communicate
    entirely via camera phone. Pose, click, check, filter, post.
    Immaculate waiters hover in the shadows.

    We sip ice-cold vodka, and eat a £77 caviar and smoked-salmon Kaspia croque monsieur that tastes far better than it ought to.
    Next door, a large table fills with a glut of the noisily, glossily confident.

    We’re looked after by a wonderful French lady of
    such effervescent charm and charisma that had she burst into an impromptu performance of ‘Willkommen’, we
    would have barely blinked. Baked potatoes,
    skin as crisp as parchment, insides whipped savagely hard with butter and sour cream, are
    a study in tuber art. A cool jet-black splodge
    of oscietra caviar, gently saline, raises them
    to the sublime. Only the price, at just under £150 each,
    is ridiculous. But there are few better dishes on earth.
    I’d eat this every day if I could. But I can’t. Obviously. That’s the
    problem with caviar. One taste is never enough.

    Hamas’ leader Yahya Sinwar could have given an order to execute all the hostages who remain in Gaza
    if he died, a top Israeli negotiator has claimed. 

    Sinwar died on Wednesday after the IDF encountered him by chance, sending a drone to kill the terror leader. 

    Gershon Baskin, the Israeli negotiator who oversaw Sinwar’s 2011 release from an Israeli prison, along with 1,026 Palestinian prisoners,
    in exchange for the return of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shilat,
    said that his death was a ‘moment of either opportunity or a moment of doom.’

    ‘A moment of doom because there are rumours that Sinwar instructed people
    holding hostages that, should he be killed, they
    should kill their hostages,’ he told the Telegraph. 

    At the time of Sinwar’s death, just over 100 hostages remained in Gaza, with 60 thought to still be alive. 

    Those who remain alive are at risk of never being returned to their families, according Haaretz, which reported on Sunday that top US officials, including
    Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, have assessed there
    is a slim chance of a deal being brokered, given the tensions between Israel and Hamas.

    A senior Israeli official told the newspaper on Sunday, several days
    after Sinwar’s passing: ‘There are currently no serious cease-fire talks,
    and Blinken is fully aware of this.’

    They added: ‘It’s unclear how Sinwar’s death will impact any potential negotiations, if they
    even exist at this stage.’

    While Baskin told the Telegraph that it wasn’t possible to confirm whether Sinwar had a kill order on the hostages,
    he said the rumours ought to be taken seriously, given how little
    Hamas appears to care for them. 

    He cited the horrific killing of six hostages in tunnels under Rafah
    in late August. 

    Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said the six were ‘cruelly murdered by Hamas just a short time before
    we got to them.’

    The six dead hostages were identified as Eden Yerushalmi, 24,
    Carmel Gat, 39, Almog Sarusi, 26, Alex Lubnov, 26, Ori Danino, 25, and Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23.  

    Five of those who were recovered had been attending the Nova
    music festival when Hamas terrorists began slaughtering festivalgoers, while taking
    others hostage. Gat was at her family kibbutz when she was captured.

    Gaza to another country, as well as a lot of money.

    ‘In order to encourage them to do that, Israel should also be reaching
    out to Egypt and Qatar and tell them to renew the negotiations quickly, not on the deal that’s been negotiated without success for almost four months, but on a deal that would bring the hostages home
    quicker and would obviously require Israel to end the war.’

    He said a deal would likely mean the release of Palestinian prisoners,
    a controversial point for many Israelis who believe that their
    release would simply lead to another October 7-style attack in the future.

    There is something reassuringly robust about The Punch Bowl Inn.

    Not just in the old-fashioned bar, where the Wainwright Gold is
    well kept and a huge leather sofa sits before a blazing wood burner;
    or in the dining room, solid and comfortable, with its old beams, well-trodden wooden floors
    and tables unadorned with cloths; it’s in the menu, too, mainly British with a Gallic burr, that makes full use of the magnificent local
    Lake District larder.

    bubble and squeak: ‘pure Cumbrian comfort by way of Lewis’,
    is Tom’s verdict

    We’re here with Peter Gott, that great Cumbrian hero, and the man behind Sillfield Farm, who has
    invited me up to cook at the Westmorland County Show; also
    chef Phil Vickery, who certainty knows his alliums; and the force of nature that is
    Lorraine Stanton, something of a legend around these parts.

    But first dinner, and a sublime twice-baked Mrs Kirkham’s cheese
    soufflé, the texture as light as a sigh, the flavour profoundly, lasciviously rich.
    Mrs Kirkham’s, now made by her son Graham, is one of the world’s great cheeses, and
    this is a soufflé of quiet majesty. A mushroom soup is equally splendid,
    managing to be both light and gutsy, while Stornoway black pudding with bubble
    and squeak and a deep-fried egg is pure Cumbrian comfort by way of Lewis.

    There’s a fundamental generosity here, matched by assured technical
    precision. Duck à l’orange sees a plump breast cooked rare, the skin crisp,
    the sauce just the right side of bitter. It comes
    with a fat potato fondant and cabbage spiked with shards of smoked bacon. I eat rump of lamb, four vast
    just-pink slices, drenched in the stickiest, most gloriously intense of gravies; by its side, a
    tiny shepherd’s pie, one bite of pure ovine brilliance.

    Puddings are every bit as fine: a lemon tart, beautifully sharp,
    with damson sorbet (this part of the Lake District is famed for its damsons);
    along with a banana soufflé, this time the classic version but
    ethereal, served with vanilla ice cream and a pot of sticky-toffee
    sauce to pour deep into its molten centre.
    This is good old-fashioned food, immaculately done, in the sort of pub designed for lingering.
    It’s getting late now, and we’ve an early start. But first, another bottle of
    wine. Dinners like this are too rare to be rushed.

    somber with her sound. 

    ‘The album is not extremely serious in that it’s
    very fun and meant to be enjoyed at a party, in a club,
    or at home having personal fun time — to be free of your worries at home or walking through life,’ she insisted. 

    Lady Gaga is focused on releasing her seventh studio album this February following
    the disappointing reception to lead single Disease

    Gaga released the album’s lead single Disease last month to rave reviews from music critics, who lauded it as a return to the star’s roots.

    Unfortunately, the acclaim failed to translate to the charts, with Disease debuting at No.
    27 on the Hot 100 – her worst entry for a lead single in 16 years.

    On the bright side, Gaga is currently enjoying one of her biggest hits in years
    thanks to her Bruno Mars duet, Die With a Smile. 

    The ballad has so far reached No. 2 on the Hot
    100 and No. 1 on the Pop Airplay Chart.

    It comes after Gaga’s leading role in the disastrous Joker:
    Folie à Deux. 

    The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix
    as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Gaga as Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn),
    faced negative reviews from critics before its October 4 release and
    flopped at the box office.

    Tim, 39, who played a guard at Arkham Asylum in the movie,
    said Todd Philips’s new film has ‘no plot’ and admitted he knew it was ‘going to bomb’ while filming. 

    Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Tim said: ‘It’s the worst film ever made.

    ‘We were talking about it at lunch, and we’d go, “What is the plot? Is there a plot? I don’t know, I think he falls in love with her in the prison?” It’s not even hate-watchable.
    That’s how terrible it is.’
